The Community Wellbeing Model © is currently being developed by Evolve Network Australia as a pilot project in the Nambucca Valley (NSW, Australia).
The project works on a number of levels to improve community wellbeing:
* Branding of community hubs
* Establishment of learning spaces (place based learning)
* Development of social enterprise activities
* Community consultation
* Aligning of industry groups with community, social enterprise and health and welfare services
* Evaluation
The model's pilot in the Nambucca Valley commenced in October 2010 with the first activity of the national conference Social Enterprise for Wellbeing and Mental Health 2011.
Evolve is currently working with TAFE Outreach to develop the 'place based learning' philosophies which underpin the model
